The owner of Duvera Kennels, Brian Long, brings a strong background in law enforcement along with a lifelong passion for the German Shepherd breed. With years of experience built on discipline, leadership, and service, Brian understands the importance of confidence, trust, and reliability—qualities reflected in every dog produced at the kennel. Brian’s law enforcement background has provided firsthand knowledge of working dog temperament, intelligence, trainability, and stability, helping shape a breeding program focused on producing German Shepherds that are not only capable working dogs, but also loyal, loving, and dependable family companions. Through responsible breeding, proper socialization, and dedication to the breed standard, Duvera Kennels is committed to raising well-balanced dogs that thrive in both professional environments and family homes alike.
